The board includes a chairman and ten (10) other individuals drawn from local residents. Selection of the CPB Chairman is made jointly by the member community governments with each jurisdiction having one vote. Terms of office for all directors are three (3) years. The CPB's responsibilities include the establishment and review of programming policies, resolution of policy disputes and questions of equal treatment for access users, fiscal controls, and the creation and promotion of the media center and Community Access channels. In addition, the CPB shall coordinate regulatory efforts for member communities and provide expertise on other matters regarding the local cable system(s) and other forms of electronic communications. The CPBRCOG also provides service to other local governments via Memorandum of Understanding.
