Waycross programs win national recognition
Two programs produced by the
Waycross Community Media volunteers and staff were
recognized with Hometown Video Festival Awards. The Hometown
Video Festival honors and promotes community communications
and local cable programs that are first distributed on
Public, Educational and Government (PEG) Access. These
awards are presented to creative programs that address
community needs, develop diverse community involvement,
challenge conventional commercial television formats, and
move viewers to experience television in a different way.
Hometown is local cable's largest video festival.
